D. Buyers Enterprises Announces the sale of Hawaii's Own
Hilo, Hawaii – D. Buyers Enterprises, LLC is pleased to announce that a definitive agreement has been signed for the sale of Hawaii’s Own, LLC to James and Lindi Walters and Cheryl Roemer. Hawaii’s Own ® is the leading marketer of frozen tropical juices in the northwest U.S. The transaction is scheduled to close on February 29, 2008.
Jim Walters is currently National Sales Manager for Hawaii’s Own and will assume the reigns of President and Chief Executive Officer. Cheryl Roemer, Hawaii’s Own’s Controller, will assume the Chief Financial Officer position. Robert Ehrhart, current President of the company, will continue in a consulting capacity.
Hawaii’s Own is headquartered in Sumner, Washington and markets frozen concentrated tropical juices in the mainland United States, particularly the West and Northwest Coast. The new owners anticipate very few changes in the business and management philosophies will remain in tact.
