Guava Bread

YIELD: Makes 1 Loaf



Ingredients

A loaf of bread with a crack on top, baked in a pink rectangular silicone loaf pan, surrounded by green leaves and a pomegranate.
  • 1-3 / 4 cups sifted flour

  • 2 tsp. baking powder

  • 1 I 4 tsp. baking soda

  • 1 /2 tsp. salt

  • 3 / 4 cup macadamia nuts chopped

  • 3 Tbsp. soft butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 6 oz. HAWAII'S OWN guava nectar concentrate

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed.



Directions

  1. Sift first four ingredients together.

  2. Add macadarnia nuts to dry

  3. ingredients; mix.

  4. Cream brown sugar, butter and eggs until

  5. light and fluffy.

  6. Stir in one half of the flour-nut mixture, then

  7. guava concentrate and vanilla.

  8. Blend in remaining flour-nut

  9. mixture.

  10. Pour into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

  11. Bake 350°, 50-60 minutes.
