Tropical Citrus BBQ Ribs

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork ribs

  • 1/2 cup Hawaii’s Own Pineapple Starfruit or Limeade concentrate

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Season ribs with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

  2. In a saucepan, combine Tropical Citrus concentrate, ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar. Simmer for 10 minutes to make the glaze.

  3. Brush ribs generously with the glaze and wrap in foil. Bake for 2.5-3 hours until tender.

  4. Uncover, brush with more glaze, and broil for 5 minutes for a caramelized finish.
